In the search for more Jesus Music I have found a treasure-trove at these websites.

You will find music here that is regional for one reason or another not picked up by the major christian music labels and distributed nationally. If you ever wondered where those Jesus music albums with more of the counterculture message were located you will find some of them here. There were many artists singing about things beyond what record labels like Word and Myrrh would allow you to sing about, making their own custom lps or signed to small regional labels.
There is some very good music here and some that is not so good but almost all of it is interesting. Artists from around the world that were making Jesus music in the 60's and 70's can also be found here.
Jesus Movement Music
Jesus Music from the seventies during the beginnings of the Jesus Movement. From Larry Norman and Andre Crouch to Phil Keaggy and Bob Dylan's "Slow Train Coming". These music styles included everything from ballads to folk rock, country rock to hard rock. During these times Jesus Music in it's general rock style was cutting edge and controversial. The message was vital, urgent and no compromise. The lyrics were straight on and clear.
